Hi,

"Gunny" Tom Highway portrayed by Clint Eastwood in Heartbrake Ridge is a pretty hard drill instructor of Marine Corps and former war veteran awarded with Medal of Honor.
He is completely trained in 3dsmax and skilled in Mental Ray. The quarters for his scout platoon full of pussies who don´t know nothing about how to be a hard marine is completely built in Vray, final skills of this GySgt. were added in Photoshop. I began his train a few months ago when I made his head for fun, but this time I had enough free time to finish the drill of this hard marine.

It is not good to iritate him because he is always ready to kick some ass, so I should stop beginning to bore the hell out of him, say enjoy and hope you like him.

Hi,

maybe you will know this old man, this work was conceived as a photoreal character based on the real photography, the main goal was to made accurate character, nothing less and nothing more I added only different haircut. I choose this character because this guy has really unique face, not like the usual faces seen around us. Maybe I was a little bit bored by the nice and clean characters and mainly the women, so hope this unusual man will be a bit different from what you saw until now. Modeling was done in 3dsmax and Mudbox, render via Mental Ray and Photoshop for textures, I used Mental Ray first time so I really enjoy learning shaders lights etc.I did massive postproduction in PS, color balance, dirt, at the end I added noise and dirt with grain for more realism, because I don´t want unreal studio look.

Hope you like it.

Batman Statue

Hi, Batman is my latest personal work, the goal was to make head only, but i decided to make whole body. My last character was totally antihero named Lobo, so now I decided to make true hero. I´ve tried to do some different model presentation with simple scene, so here is his statue as a 3d print of my sculpt, but without the cloak, because cloak will cover whole back and shoulders and this is mainly model presentation so here is my sorry to all Batman fans here Base meshes done in 3dsmax, sculpting in Mudbox, render done in Vray, the books and the furniture in background are evermotion.

Hi,

After more then year of work in my free time I finally finished my latest scene with my favorite comic antihero Lobo.
Picture is inspired by cover of comic book in my collection. The Original artwork is from Rafael Garrés, but I changed
lot of things on my own. Scene is made in 3dsmax 8/9 and rendered in Vray 1.5, sculpting in Mudbox and
postproduction in Photoshop. Hope you like it.

Wolfsschanze

Hi,

this is my last work, this is a today´s look of Wolfsschanze/Wolf Lair/Vlčí Doupě is a name of Hitler´s headquarters in the east Poland and place of assasination attempt in 20. July 1944. This scene tooks me about three months of pure work. All is done in 3dsmax, entire scene has about 5 milions faces, for big trees in background used Onyx Tree, and some correction of the branches in Max, other trees are bulit up from branches from Onyx Tree, leaves and other vegetation are self-made, rendering in Maxwell Render beta via plugin, not useless version 1 studio. Textures are done in Photoshop and some color correction in Photoshop.

Big thanks to all cg friends who gaves me a lot of constructive critics and many big big thanks to my friend Peter, thanks man.

Hope you like it.
